about

The last track on the album and my favorite track. Written in 2010 at the Yellow House (Skerplugata 10) on a beautiful afternoon. I drank a lot of coffee that weekend and recorded a lot of distorted noise. I had a Roland Jupiter 4 from a friend (thanks Bjarni) and a Roland TR-606 (thanks Hypno and Lars Von Pier ) and this track was made by both. The 606 was recorded through the Boss DS-1 pedal and I played the synth pad live from the Jupiter 4. I edited the track in Ableton Live and added some sub bass and the synth flute. Smurfen did a great job in mixing the track, because it was really noisy. I remember I posted a version of it online for a group of friends and Runar Magnússon, from Hljóðaklettar, really liked it and praised me for it. That made me feel good, because I loved it myself and I knew not many people would "get it".
